Wanna get married? Miranda Lambert's “anti-bougie cookbook” may hold the secret

On Tuesday, April 25, Miranda Lambert‘s long-awaited “anti-bougie cookbook,”Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen, arrives.

While the ACM Entertainer of the Year may not be the first person you’d expect to share recipes, she points out the collection’s not really that much of a stretch.

“It’s very approachable,” Miranda tells ABC Audio. “And I have spent my whole adult life telling stories as a songwriter, and I think this is just another way to tell stories is through a cookbook and through recipes.”

And what exactly does she mean by Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen?

“I grew up with this amazing group of ladies that taught me a lot about life and how to handle it as it comes, and a lot of those lessons were learned around the table,” Miranda explains, admitting those women tend to do more of the cooking, while she’s mainly the mixologist.

Of course, Miranda’s mom, Beverly, is chief among the cookbook’s contributors, offering one recipe that allegedly has a very specific side effect.

“Her light shines on her meatloaf and it’s like the one that gets the ring,” Miranda says. “I mean, every one of our friends that’s ever been in a serious relationship, you make the loaf, you get engaged is just how it goes.”

“Worked for me twice,” she laughs. “It’s her ‘famous loaf,’ she calls it, because it was editor’s pick in Southern Living in 2010. And she will always tell you that.”

Y’all Eat Yet? is just part of Miranda’s burgeoning lifestyle empire, which includes the Wanda June Home line at Walmart, Idyllwind clothing, her Red 55 Winery and her Pink Pistol boutique in Lindale, Texas.

Niko Moon and Zac Brown hope “HEAVEN HAS A BAR”

Niko Moon has tapped Zac Brown for an exuberant new song, “HEAVEN HAS A BAR.”

The track arrives after several teases from Niko on social media, which included photos of the two of them in the studio.

“I hope heaven has a bar/ Sip holy spirits out the jar/ Where every night is a Friday night/ And every beer is cold as ice/ I hope heaven has a band/ Where all the Opry legends jam/ A neon angel on a steel guitar/ A little prayer from a country boy’s heart/ I hope heaven has a bar,” goes the feel-good chorus.

“[‘HEAVEN HAS A BAR’ is] a song of simplicity, down-homeness, and celebration. I think Zac and I find a lot of value in the simple things: Family and friends, and celebrating life is what it's all about,” Niko shares in a statement. “This is about celebrating with all the people you love once you go to heaven.”

Zac adds, “I like the imagination in this song. Whatever there is after life ends, that love of music doesn’t go away. To go see all of our heroes that have passed away and play some music, maybe that’s heaven for us.”

“HEAVEN HAS A BAR” is the first song either Niko or Zac have released in 2023.

Matthew McConaughey is proud to call Kenny Chesney a friend

“Alright, alright, alright.” Here’s one thing we know: Matthew McConaughey is a longtime fan and friend of Kenny Chesney.

Kenny recently headlined the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation’s 2023 TEX Gala. But just before he took the stage, he got an epic introduction from Matthew.

“So this next guy I’m going to introduce is many things. He’s a poet, some of y’all know that. He’s also a pirate, yes we know that. He’s a hell of a performer, we know that. He sold out tons of records, he’s played in plenty of stadiums. But the reason I’m up here to introduce him tonight is because he’s also someone I call a friend. Someone that my family can call a friend,” Matthew shares.

“He’s also supported our foundation for years. There’s been many times where I was in a pinch and gave him a call and he was like, ‘What do you need? I’ll be there,’ and he came. He’s also someone that I’ve had damn good time chasing some sunrises with until the early morning hours,” adds the prolific actor.
