Taylor Swift has previewed her new song “Carolina” in the trailer for Where the Crawdads Sing, a new film adaptation of Delia Owens’ 2018 novel of the same name.
Carolina is the first new music from Swift since she released Red (Taylor’s Version) in 2021, a 30-track re-recording of her 2012 album Red. Among its previously unheard tracks is a 10-minute version of “All Too Well,” which went to No.1. More recently, Ed Sheeran’s collaboration with Swift, “The Joker and the Queen,” debuted on the Hot 100 at No.21 upon its release.
Swift is also set to be featured on a new Record Store Day charity compilation titled Portraits Of Her. In addition to Swift, the 16-track album will also feature Girl in Red, Julien Baker, Banks, Princess Nokia, Leyla Blue, Boyish, Bully, Alice Longyu Gao, Laura Jane Grace, Asiahn, Girl Ultra, K. Flay, Mariah The Scientist, Julia Michaels, and Joy Oladokun.
