Source: Blake Shelton + Gwen Stefani are ecstatic' for a summer wedding that involves Gwen's sons

Now that Gwen Stefani has had her bridal shower, can the big day be far away?

A source tells People magazine that Gwen and fiance Blake Shelton are “both ecstatic” that they can “finally” tie the knot, adding, “They are getting married this summer.”

“Ever since they got engaged, they have both been adamant that no wedding will happen until it’s safe for family and friends to attend. Gwen expressed early on that she really wanted a summer wedding,” the source adds.

“She was upset earlier this year when it seemed to be no end in sight for the pandemic. She slowly started planning the wedding this spring, though,” dishes the source, who also reveals that “Gwen’s boys will be very involved” in the ceremony.

Gwen’s boys are 15-year-old Kingston, 12-year-old Zuma and 7-year-old Apollo, who she shares with her ex-husband, rocker Gavin Rossdale.

“Blake is a great extra dad and very close with the boys,” says the source.

Don’t expect their nuptials to be too country-fried, though: Blake has said that he’s leaving wedding planning duty to his bride-to-be.

“If I was picking our meal, it would just literally be everything fried,” he previously told USA Today, mentioning chicken tenders and french fries as items he’d put on the menu. He jokes, “I think she knows that it would be a pretty classless wedding if I was in control.”

No “Broken Heart” for Maddie & Tae, as they celebrate their hit single's new double platinum status

Maddie & Tae are continuing to celebrate milestones for their chart-topping single, “Die from a Broken Heart.” The song recently achieved RIAA Double Platinum status, and Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr celebrated with new commemorative plaques.

The singers gathered with their longtime band mates Jeremy Little, Colton Thomas, Shane Smith and Dave Lapsley, all of whom have made their new accomplishment even more special.

“These guys have been on this wild ride with us and they believed in us even when we may have doubted ourselves. We are a family!” notes Taylor.

“Broken Heart” hit the top of the country charts back in August of 2020, after a 54-week climb. It marked the longest journey to the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart by a female act in the chart's 30-year history.

This spring, Maddie & Tae sent their new single, “Woman You Got,” to radio. Both members of the duo had a hand in writing the track, which they say is among the most autobiographical songs they've ever written.

Proud Pop: Tim McGraw sweetly shouts out daughter Maggie as she graduates from Stanford

Tim McGraw cannot be any prouder of his daughter Maggie, who recently collected her master’s degree from Stanford University.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the “Highway Don’t Care” singer shouted out his 22-year-old daughter on her graduation day and shared photos of her posing in her academic regalia.

“We are so incredibly proud of our Maggie May,” gushed McGraw, 54. “She graduated from her Masters program at Stanford University this weekend and what a celebration!!!”

The country superstar continued, “I have such admiration for her work ethic, her fierce love of her family and especially her passion to make the world a better place.”

McGraw, who referred to himself as a “Proud Pop,” closed out his speech by encouraging Maggie, “Go get em my sweet girl!!!!”

The three-time Grammy winner shares Maggie with wife and fellow country star Faith Hill.

Last year, Hill announced Maggie secured her bachelor’s degree by sharing a throwback video of the two making their first cross-country trip to Stanford.

“Hard to believe that this road trip with Maggie from Nashville to Palo Alto was four years ago,” the singer wrote at the time. “This was me trying to film us singing to the radio with my phone out of the window……easy to see why one of us just graduated from Stanford and one did not!!!!!”

McGraw and Hill share two other daughters, Gracie — who graduated from New York University — and Audrey, who is 19.

Chris Lane will “Fill Them Boots” this fall with a headlining tour

Chris Lane's gearing up to hit the road. He just announced his headlining Fill Them Boots Tour, which kicks off in late October.

Beginning in Memphis, Tennessee, the trek will take Chris through a string of nationwide stops, wrapping in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in March 2022. Rising act Lily Rose will join him for the full tour, and Tyler Rich and Ernest will split another opening slot.

The tour takes its name from Chris' new single, “Fill Them Boots,” which dropped in April. It's been an exciting few months for the singer both musically and personally, as he and his wife Lauren welcomed their first child, baby boy Dutton, earlier this month. Now, Chris says, he's hoping Dutton will get his first taste of life on the road during his Fill Them Boots tour.

“Never been more excited for anything in my life!!” the singer says of his upcoming run. “Me, Lauren, Dutton & the boys can't wait to see y'all…it's been way too long.”

Tickets for the Fill Them Boots Tour go on sale June 25 at 10 a.m. local time, but a special pre-sale begins on June 22.

Written with his songwriter dad, Thomas Rhett's “Things Dads Do” is a full-circle Father's Day reflection

Thomas Rhett and his songwriter dad, Rhett Akins, have written lots of hits over the years. But none is more special than “Things Dads Do,” a tender and autobiographical reflection on a son's journey to becoming a dad himself.

“This is probably my favorite song I've gotten to write with my dad,” the country star explains. “I've learned so many life lessons from him, and it's pretty wild to see so much of him in myself now that I'm a dad. It felt like we should go ahead to release it for all of y'all who have been asking since we wrote it, and to celebrate all the dads out there!”

“Things Dads Do” arrives ahead of this year's Father's Day. In its lyrics, Thomas remembers all the dad-like things Rhett did when he was a child, and realizes that he's started to do the same things himself.

It'll be a particularly special Father's day for Thomas, as he's dad to three young girls, with a fourth on the way. He and his wife, Lauren, announced earlier this year that their fourth daughter is due in November.

Garth Brooks is headed to Nashville for the next stop on his Stadium Tour

For the next destination on his Stadium Tour, Garth Brooks is setting his sights on Music City. The country superstar announced plans to play Nashville's Nissan Stadium for his first time ever, in a show that will take place July 25 at 7PM CT.

Admittedly, he says, performing in the middle of the country music capital of the world adds some extra pressure to his set.

“Let's face it — where's the one place you really want to shine the brightest? It's in front of all your friends!” Garth said during a recent installment of his Facebook Live series, Inside Studio G. “So we'll be trying way too hard. And I'm just hoping to relax and enjoy it.”

Tickets for Garth's Nashville show go on sale Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m. CT. Fans should aim to grab their tickets early, because previous Stadium Tour stops have sold out at a whiplash-inducing rate.

Last month, fans snapped up 50,000 seats to Garth’s July Salt Lake City show just under 30 minutes after the event went on sale. Not long after, Garth sold 70,000 tickets in the first 47 minutes after sales opened for his Lincoln, Nebraska show. Per Stadium Database, Nissan Stadium has an audience capacity of 69,143.

As always for Garth's Stadium Tour shows, tickets will cost $94.95, all-inclusive.
