Justin Moore's feeling mixed emotions as his kids head back to school: “It's just kind of mind-blowing”

The days are long but the years are short, and Justin Moore is feeling like a proud dad this year as he sends all four of his kids off to school.

The singer got nostalgic on social media as he reflected on how all four of his kids — including his 5-year-old son, Thomas South — are now officially old enough to go to school.

Though sending his young son to school hits extra hard this back-to-school season, Justin says all of his children are growing up at an alarming rate. For example, his oldest daughter is now old enough to be a cheerleader.

“Ella, our oldest, she's going into seventh grade this year, which for us is considered junior high,” Justin tells ABC Audio. “It's great, but it's sad at the same time, you know? She's cheering this year, which she's never done. I can't really help with that. I don't know much about it.”

In fact, all four kids are very busy with sports this year. Justin's daughters Kennedy and Klein are going into fifth and third grade, respectively, and they're both playing basketball and softball.

“[Klein]'s all excited because she just got new glasses — like, she has to wear glasses,” the singer adds. “I wish I was excited about me needing glasses.”

The youngest member of the family will be in kindergarten this year, Justin continues. “South started kindergarten, which is just kind of mind-blowing,” he adds.

The singer and his family live in his home state of Arkansas.

Due to overwhelming ticket demand, Garth Brooks is extending his stay at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, a newly constructed venue at Bass Pro Shops Big Cedar Lodge in the Ozarks of Missouri.

Garth was originally planning to give one concert to christen the new venue, but after 55,000 fans snapped up tickets on the on-sale date, he's booking two more nights in the venue. Garth will now play the venue on September 30, October 1 and October 2.

Hardy + Lainey Wilson deliver vigilante justice in their sinister “Wait in the Truck” duet, music video

Hardy puts a stop to an instance of domestic violence — and pays a steep price — in his new murder ballad, “Wait in the Truck,” a duet with Lainey Wilson.

The story song follows the two up-and-coming stars as they meet on a dark road in the middle of a thunderstorm. From Lainey's bruised and bloodied appearance, it's clear that she's in trouble, and Hardy knows he's got to do something about it.

“I didn't load her down with questions / That girl had been through enough / I just threw it in drive, looked in those eyes / And asked her where she was,” he sings.

In addition to their new song, Hardy and Lainey dropped a music video on Friday that adds a sinister visual component to “Wait in the Truck.” In the clip, Hardy ultimately pays for his crime by going to jail. “It ain't paradise, it's true / But it's a whole hell of a lot better / Than the place I sent him to,” he sings at the end of the song.

“Wait in the Truck,' my next single, is one of my favorite songs I've ever written — probably the best song I've ever written, to be honest,” Hardy says, adding that he hopes the track will open up a discussion for listeners going through domestic violence in their own lives.

“[I'm] excited for the song to give people a platform to maybe speak out about stuff that might be going on in their own homes,” he continues.

Hardy recently announced his four-date Wall to Wall Tour, which is set for December.

If you are affected by abuse and needing support, or know someone who is, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233, or the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673). You can also chat online at thehotline.org or online.rainn.org, respectively.

Miranda Lambert on how she's making her Las Vegas residency feel like home: “I'm excited to be in one spot”

Miranda Lambert's Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency kicks off next month, and after years of touring — and spending the summer glamping with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, in an Airstream camper — she's excited to hitch her “Bandwagon” to one post for a while.

In fact, the singer tells E! News' Daily Pop that she's going above and beyond to bring home to Vegas, including making sure Brendan can be by her side as much as possible.

“We got the schedule figured out where he can come most of the time,” Miranda says, adding that the whole family will be out on the road with her. “We're taking our dogs so it will feel a little more like home, too.”

For a touring artist who's spent decades on the road, Miranda says that's a pretty refreshing way to spend the fall.

“I'm excited to be in one spot,” she continues. “I've been on a bus since I was 18 years old, so it will be a nice change.”

Of course, being grounded at one venue has some extra perks to the show itself, too. “I'm able to do a lot of stuff I've never done on the road before production-wise,” she hints.

Miranda's normally known for relying on her vocals and songwriting to put on a great show, but when in Rome, right? The singer's Vegas set will feature some extra glitz and glamour.

“There's a lot of pyro, which I really love, and more rhinestones and more fringe. What's not to love?” Miranda continues.

The Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency kicks off September 23 at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
