Hear the first snippets of Chris Janson's new “All I Need Is You”

You’ll have to wait until January 27 to hear the full version of Chris Janson‘s debut single on Big Machine, “All I Need is You.” But you can hear a sneak peek in a couple of new videos the “Buy Me a Boat” hitmaker just posted.

Calling it both a “super special love song” and “one of my absolute favorites,” Chris tells the story behind the song in a new Walk and Talk video that shows him strolling through a field in the woods. While it’s inspired by his wife, Kelly, and co-written by Mitch Oglesby, “All I Need Is You” finds Chris in a new sonic groove he’s rarely visited before.

“I think it kind of gut-punched everybody in a good way,” he says of the finished version of the tune he co-wrote.

Chris also gives an unforgettable run-on preview of his debut album for his new label; the album is expected to arrive in the coming months.

See the two sides of Terry Crews in Tyler Hubbard's new music video

NFL player-turned-actor Terry Crews walks into Everybody’s Bar in Tyler Hubbard‘s new video for “Dancin’ in the Country.”

The muscle-bound Crews crushes a beer bottle with one hand at the start of what appears to be a fight with a much smaller guy and his friends. Instead, the confrontation turns into an epic dance-off.

“Couldn't have had more fun with Terry Crews making the video for ‘Dancin' In The Country,'” Tyler shared on Facebook. “Hope it makes you smile and wanna get ur dance on.”

There’s even a little vogueing at the end. Be sure to stick around for the final postscript between Tyler and Crews.

“Dancin’ in the Country” is the follow-up to Tyler’s first solo #1, “5 Foot 9,” and the latest single from his self-titled debut, which comes out January 27 and features the track “Everybody Needs a Bar.”

HARDY gives wing to 'the mockingbird & THE CROW'

HARDY‘s sophomore album, the mockingbird & THE CROW, drops Friday, and the hit singer/songwriter’s getting ready to promote it in a big way.

He and CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Lainey Wilson will do their top 15 hit “wait in the truck” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, January 25. The only time they’ve performed it together previously was on the CMA Awards last November.

The following morning, HARDY will perform the album cut “screen” during the third hour of NBC’s Today show.

Since the mockingbird & THE CROW is a two-part, 17-track odyssey that combines rock and country, HARDY’s got some pretty cool plans to showcase the record live at two legendary Los Angeles venues. On Monday, January 23, he’ll perform the country tunes at the Troubadour and do the rock jams at The Roxy.

From there, the Mississippi native heads out on his 16-date headlining tour with Jameson Rodgers and rock band Blame My Youth. It kicks off February 16 in Indianapolis.

Dolly's ready to rock with McCartney, Cher, Stevie & more

Dolly Parton is spilling the T on her upcoming rock album.

The record, which she’s working on now, will include appearances from rock royalty like Paul McCartneyJohn Fogerty, ex-Journey frontman Steve Perry and Steven Tyler, the legend herself confirms.

As far as song selection, Dolly reveals she’s recorded Led Zeppelin‘s “Stairway to Heaven” and the Rolling Stones‘ “Satisfaction.” When asked if Mick Jagger will join her, Dolly promises, “I’m doing my best to try to get him on it.” In the meantime, she’s laid down vocals with Pink and Brandi Carlile.

The “Jolene” hitmaker also just finished recording with Stevie Nicks and dropped another bombshell regarding Cher, disclosing, “We’ve been trying to get the right thing together.”

The revelations came during Dolly’s appearance on ABC’s The View this week as she promotes the new additions to her Duncan Hines line of baking mixes.

While we don’t know when Dolly’s rock record will arrive, she’s hinted several times it’s coming this year. The icon announced her intention as her way of earning her recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, which she initially didn’t believe she deserved.

Husband charged with murder of missing Massachusetts woman Ana Walshe

Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey announced on Tuesday an arrest warrant has been issued for Brian Walshe in the murder in the death of his wife, 39-year-old Ana Walshe, who has been missing since New Year’s Day.

Morrissey announced the warrant in a video posted to YouTube on Tuesday: “Early in this investigation the police developed probable cause to believe her husband, Brian Walshe, age 47, had mislead police investigators on material matters important to the search for Ana Walshe. He has plead not guilty to those charges and is currently being held at the Norfolk County house of correction.  A continued investigation has now allowed police to obtain an arrest warrant, charging Brian Walshe with the murder of his wife.”  Morrissey said additional evidence was likely to be presented at arraignment at Quincy District Court.

Ana Walshe worked in real estate before her disappearance from Cohasset, Mass., where she lived with her husband. Last week, Norfolk County Assistant District Attorney Lynn Beland told the court that a bloody knife had been found in the home where Ana and Brian Walshe lived. Additionally, Beland told the court that Walshe had failed to disclose the fact that he spent $450 at Home Depot to purchase a tarp and cleaning supplies after his wife vanished.

1 killed, 7 wounded in shooting during massive MLK Day celebration in Florida

No arrests have been made in a shooting that took place after an event honoring Martin Luther King Jr. in Florida on Monday, in which one person was killed and seven others were wounded.

According to St. Lucie County Chief Deputy Brian Hester, after the MLK Jr. parade on Monday at about 5:20 p.m., a disagreement occurred at an after-parade party, which led to the shooting. One of the victims, an unidentified 29-year-old woman who was attending the party with her 6-year-old daughter, has since died from their injuries. At a press conference, Hester said, “It’s really sad in a celebration of someone who represented peace and equality that a disagreement results in a use of guns and violence to solve that disagreement. And then so many innocent people who were injured or hurt and were not part of the disagreement as well.”

Sheriff Ken Mascara said at a news conference on Tuesday: “What was a shooting investigation has turned into a murder investigation.”  The sheriff’s office also told the outlet that the parade was attended by more than 1,000 people. Two deputies were at the scene and quickly responded to the shooting at the party, according to the sheriff’s office. Chief Deputy Hester told reporters on Tuesday that evidence supports that this shooting was between two local rival gangs: “It was mass chaos as you can imagine when shots rang out. There were a thousand plus people here at the event, and as the shots rang out, people were just running in all directions.”  Those with information related to this incident are asked to contact St. Lucie County detectives or call Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-8477.

The intoxicating appeal of Jason Aldean's “That's What Tequila Does”

Jason Aldean‘s latest top ten hit continues his longstanding tradition of recording songs written by members of his band, particularly Tully Kennedy and Kurt Allison.

And when it comes to “That’s What Tequila Does,” the boss was instantly intoxicated.

“I was like, ‘Man, there’s something really cool about that,'” Jason recalls. “And I think that was one that they specifically went in really kinda trying to write for our album. And I can kinda hear those things like when they play me the song.”

“So I loved it, I thought it was great, really well-written,” he continues. “And we wanted to go back and pull something out [of] the first part of the album. And to me, that was just a cool thing to follow up ‘Trouble With Heartbreak’ and [it] comes off great live.”

“That’s What Tequila Does” is from the Macon half of Jason’s double album, which came out in November of 2021, while his most recent #1, “Trouble with a Heartbreak,” is from Georgia, which arrived in April of last year.

Tully and Kurt had a hand in writing both songs, as well as John Morgan, who’s signed to Jason’s label and opened for him last year. Songwriters John Edwards and Brett Beavers also contributed to “Tequila” and “Trouble,” respectively.

With “Tequila” likely to continue Jason’s streak of number ones, what will the ACM Artist of the Decade order to celebrate?

“My go-to tequila is probably Casamigos, and my go-to tequila drink is tequila — just that’s it. Just a shot!” he laughs. “Shot and chase it with a beer, you know,” he adds.
