Manhattan district attorney ensures employee safety from protests after claims of impending Trump arrest

Responding to former President Donald Trump calling for protests over his claims of an incoming arrest, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said his office will “not tolerate” intimidation.  On Saturday, Trump posted a message to Truth Social stating that he expects to be arrested on Tuesday, and telling his supporters “PROTEST. TAKE OUR NATION BACK.”

D.A. Bragg said in an email to about 1,600 employees at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office that he is coordinating with the New York Police Department and Office of Court Administration in preparation of any security risks. Bragg wrote in an email shared by Politico reporter Erica Ogden on Twitter: “We do not tolerate attempts to intimidate our office or threaten the rule of law in New York. Our law enforcement partners will ensure that any specific or credible threats against the office will be fully investigated and that the proper safeguards are in place so all 1,600 of us have a secure work environment.”

Trump expects to be arrested in relation to the ongoing Manhattan case over his alleged hush money paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign. Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen — who allegedly executed the hush money payments to Daniels — had testified against the former president last week, and has testified and written in his tell-all book that Trump directed him to make payments to Daniels. Daniels herself met with the DA on Wednesday, answering questions about the case and agreeing to make herself available as a witness for further questioning if needed.

Keith Urban's favorite post-concert activity? Driving

Putting on a headlining concert is no easy feat. The experience typically leaves the performer with a post-show euphoria that makes heading straight to bed an impossible task. Thus, some artists choose to head out for late-night meals, jam out with their band on the tour bus or binge their favorite shows. For Keith Urban, however, it’s neither.

In a recent interview with People, Keith revealed that his favorite post-concert activity is driving.

“I love driving, and almost everywhere I go I’ll rent a car so that I can drive myself everywhere,” he shared. “I especially love driving after a gig. If it’s just a little hike to wherever I’m staying, it’s heaven to just be in the car on my own after a show. It’s really nice coming off a stage with such an intense, rowdy environment to then immediately be in a car with something calm playing, or just some Ray Charles or something just completely chill.”

“I like the quiet isolation,” the “Days Gone By” singer added.

Keith is currently headlining his Las Vegas Residency, with shows happening in March, June, July and November. For a full list of dates and to get tickets, go to Ticketmaster.

Luke Grimes pays homage to his home state in the single ‘Oh Ohio’

Luke Grimes has released the new single “Oh Ohio,” the follow-up to his debut country song “No Horse To Ride,” which has already amassed over 15 million global streams since its release in December. “Oh Ohio” was written by Grimes, Jessi Alexander and Jon Randall, and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Dave Cobb.

In the song, Grimes (who grew up in Dayton, Ohio) writes about the experience of leaving home. Said Grimes: “I left Ohio over twenty years ago to chase a dream. It was a big moment for me when I realize that Ohio wasn’t my home anymore; I’m sure many people who have moved away can relate. It felt like home for a very long time but over the years I could feel the drift. ‘Oh, Ohio’ is less of a song about leaving home and more about losing it. It’s a breakup song but with a place. Knowing your time together is over but you are a part of each other forever.”

Grimes’ debut track, “No Horse To Ride,” debuted inside the Top 10 of the Country Songs sales chart at No. 7. He is also known for his role as Kayce Dutton on the hit television series, Yellowstone.
