Lauren Alaina and Blake Shelton are now “Thicc As Thieves”

Are Lauren Alaina and Blake Shelton now “Thicc As Thieves”? It sure seems like it.

Lauren recently posted an Instagram Reel of her teaching Blake the dance to “Thicc As Thieves,” a duet she recently released with Lainey Wilson.

Their infectious dance features them shimmying, kicking up their boots in style and, at times, going down low. The video ends with Lauren burying her face in her hands in laughter as Blake lets loose with some over-the-top dance moves.

“Thicc As Thieves” is featured on Lauren’s latest EP, Unlocked. The six-song set, which dropped in early June, is her debut project with Big Loud Records.

Luke Bryan unites a military couple onstage

Get your Kleenex ready, folks. A tear-jerking reunion happened at Luke Bryan‘s concert recently.

It started off with Luke calling on a certain “Shannon” at his concert – to her surprise, no less.

“Shannon! You’re Shannon, right? You’re Shannon? So Shannon’s husband has been fighting overseas for a couple of years and I want to get her to help me,” Luke told the crowd, before inviting Shannon onstage.

The superstar then led the crowd into an a cappella chorus of his song “Country On.”

“I said, ‘Hey, hey, USA. We ain’t seen our better days,'” Luke and his fans sang before Shannon’s husband surprised her on the stage. The couple then embraced as both husband and wife broke into tears.

2 killed, 3 injured in shooting at Beyond Wonderland Festival in Washington

Two people were killed and three others injured after police said a shooter began firing “randomly” into a crowd at a Washington state campground that was hosting people attending the Beyond Wonderland Festival, an electronic dance festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington. The suspect was among those injured after being shot in a confrontation with law enforcement.

Kyle Foreman, public information officer with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. said during a press conference that authorities received the first report of the shooting shortly before 8:30 p.m. at the camping area a few hundred yards from the Gorge Amphitheater, where thousands of people were attending the festival. The Gorge is near the small city of George, about 150 miles east of Seattle. After the initial shots were fired, the suspect started moving through the campground and “continued to shoot randomly into the crowd” until he was eventually confronted by police and taken into custody, Foreman said. A public alert had advised people that there was an active shooter in the area, but Foreman said there was no effort to evacuate the festival.

The festival continued following the shooting and did not end until early Sunday morning. Organizers of the Beyond Wonderland electronic music festival said on social media that Sunday’s events at the Gorge were canceled. The music festival made the announcement on social media: “We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the local authorities and staff who acted quickly to manage the situation. “Our heartfelt thoughts and condolences go out to the family, friends, and all those affected by this tragic event.”

Cole Swindell explains “Drinkaby” + why it makes the perfect show opener

With Cole Swindell‘s “Drinkaby” in the top 20 of the country charts this week, ABC Audio had to ask him an important question: “So, what is a ‘Drinkaby’?”

“I don’t really know what one is, but I just knew when I saw the title, I was like, ‘What is this?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, like a lullaby, but a drinkaby,'” explained Cole. “I was like, ‘That’s got to be a HARDY title or something.'”

Cole’s instinct was right, as HARDY did write the track with Jordan SchmidtHunter Phelps and Jon Pardi.

With summer in full swing, Cole’s looking forward to continuing opening for Thomas Rhett while promoting his current single and upcoming new music. His opening track? “Drinkaby,” of course.

“That’s what we’re kicking off the show with, and it’s doing exactly what we wanted it to do,” Cole shared of the “high energy” and “fun songs.” “It’s hard to follow up ‘She Had Me At Heads Carolina’ no matter what you put out, so it’s been fun to just see the reaction, live especially.”

“Drinkaby” is #16 on this week’s country charts and can be found on Cole’s Stereotype Broken deluxe album.
