Carly Pearce is done recording album #4

Waiting eagerly for Carly Pearce‘s fourth album? Fret not, it’s coming soon.

“Well, it’s done. We’re mixing it,” Carly tells ABC Audio. “You’re probably going to get it in the beginning of the year.”

How will Carly’s fresh collection of music differ from 2021’s 29: Written In Stone?

“I feel like 29 gave me the confidence to be as country as I wanted. But this album – I know the title but I can’t say it – solidifies who I am,” she explains.

2024 will be a big year for Carly on both the music and tour fronts. The Kentucky native’s set to open for Tim McGraw on his Standing Room Only Tour, and she’s already looking forward to singing his Faith Hill-assisted duets with him.

“Come on. He already knows that I want to sing them. I’m ready,” says Carly. “I idolized him and Faith. I still do. It’s probably the most starstruck I’ve ever been meeting the two of them. And to now get to be on his tour? He’s such a force, and he has been for decades, which is crazy. Like not years, decades. And that’s goals.”

Carly’s approaching the top 30 on the country charts with her Chris Stapleton-featured single, “We Don’t Fight Anymore.” The track alongside “Country Music Made Me Do It” and “Heels Over Head” serve as previews of her forthcoming album.

Kenny Chesney's “Take Her Home” captures “everything life is made of”

Kenny Chesney has dropped his new single, “Take Her Home.”

The track was penned by HARDYHunter Phelps and Zach Abend, and it’s one that resonated with Kenny as soon as he heard it.

“Take her home, fall in love/ Thank the good Lord up above/ That He sent one down into your arms/ And put a chain around your raised-hell heart/ You try to play it cool walkin’ through the door/ But you’re smilin’ like a fool ’cause you can’t wait for/ Them down-th?-road memories you’re bound to mak?/ And you will one day take her home,” Kenny sings in the chorus.

“When I heard ‘Take Her Home,’ I just laughed,” Kenny says. “It was everything life is made of in less than four minutes. It's true, honest and all the stuff that's easy to forget.”

“It's amazing how simple figuring life out can be. I look around, and I see people in every state of this song every day,” he continues. “It's part of the miracle of being alive. Even when it's not happening to you, it's happening to someone you love – whether your friend, a brother or sister, co-worker – and that feeling comes right back.”

“I can't wait to hear people singing this one back to us, because it's going to be one of those moments. I just know,” Kenny adds.

“Take Her Home” is the first preview of Kenny’s next collection of music. His latest album is 2020’s Here And Now.

Gabby Barrett drops new song on motherhood from 'Chapter & Verse'

Gabby Barrett has released “Growin' Up Raising You,” the newest preview of her forthcoming album, Chapter & Verse, arriving February 2.

Written with Jon NiteZach Kale and Jimmy Robbins, the autobiographical ballad chronicles Gabby’s candid reflection on being a 23-year-old mother.

“We'll get it wrong, we'll get it right/ Whole lotta tears we'll both have to cry/ You'll learn to run, I'll learn to let go/ Years will go fast, nights will go slow/ Lord knows the best thing that I'll ever do/ Will be growin’ up raising you,” Gabby sings.

“‘Growin’ Up Raising You’ is a very sensitive song for me,” she shares. “I’m only 23 – I don't have all the answers to everything, and I haven’t gotten everything figured out. I'm doing the best that I can while trying to raise other people to be the best people they can be.”

“I feel so blessed to be able to have three little lives that I can help to flourish while I'm also trying to figure out life myself,” Gabby adds.

In addition to the newly released track, Chapter & Verse will feature its lead single, “Glory Days,” and “Cowboy Back.”

More details on Chapter & Verse, including a full track list, will be announced soon.
