The recalled spinach was sold to store in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. People who have already purchased the spinach are urged to not consume it, and throw it away. As of press time, no illness have been reported in connection to the Fresh Express recall.

Ashley McBryde's holiday season involves long drives, long walks and ribs

One thing Ashley McBryde typically logs during the holiday season? Mileage on the road.

“For me, [the] holiday season means long drives, but it’s always meant long drives. It’s six or seven hours to mom’s house or dad’s house or four or five hours to a brother or sister or a cousin from there. So it’s lots of drive time,” shares Ashley.

“But there are also lots of things to look forward to. My stepdad always makes ribs on holidays for nearly every holiday,” she adds. “No matter what the dishes are going to be, there’s also ribs.”

Leisurely walks are also part of Ashley’s family tradition.

“My family lives really close to each other in certain parts of Arkansas. You can get to a stepbrother’s house or a cousin’s house really, really close,” says the “One Night Standards” singer. “So we spend a lot of time taking walks to each other’s houses, which is really nice.”

Ashley recently performed “You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” with violinist Lindsey Stirling on CMA Country Christmas. In case you missed it, it’ll encore December 20 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.

Old Dominion to open ‘Odie’s Bar & Music Venue’ in Nashville

Old Dominion announced plans to open a new bar/music venue in Summer 2024 near Music Row in Nashville called Odie’s, located at 1919 Division St.

Old Dominion teamed with Good Time Design, the hospitality and entertainment group behind Sonny’s Patio Pub and Cerveza Jack’s in Nashville, to create the concept for Odie’s. Old Dominion’s Trevor Rosen says: “We didn’t quite know what it was, but we also knew what we were missing. The more we talked, the more we realized we wanted a bar like the places we went to when we were just having our first cuts, hanging out with other writers … We wanted it to be a place where a group of songwriters who might have a band could play, or someone starting out might be able to be part of a writers thing and get heard. You know, pay it forward because all these years later, we know it works. That’s much better than just a temple to who we think we are.”

Mitchell Tenpenny loves family time for Christmas

Mitchell Tenpenny‘s holiday tradition is plain and simple – spending quality time with family.

“We don't have many Christmas traditions. Honestly, it's really just getting family together in whatever shape or form we can,” Mitchell shares. “Especially now that we are all older and grown up, it's harder to get everything one in the same place.”

“Anytime we can get the family together that's pretty much our tradition,” he says.

Instead of opening presents on Christmas morning, Mitchell and his family typically unwrap theirs Christmas Eve night.

“We always open presents the night before Christmas. That started, I don't know, about 10 years ago and we’ve just been doing it that way for whatever reason and it's been great,” shares Mitchell.

“I enjoy it because it gives me and my brother enough time with our mom before we all leave and then we all have breakfast Christmas morning,” he adds.

Mitchell’s latest album is 2022’s This Is The Heavy, which spawned the singles “Truth About You” and “We Got History.”

Megan Moroney teases vulnerable unreleased song

Megan Moroney is baring her heart on a new song, “28th of June.”

Megan previewed the unreleased track on Instagram with the caption “*writes 4 songs in one day because i'm off the road & missed songwriting so much*.”

The piano-driven demo clip features lyrics that chronicle the persona’s aching post-breakup sentiments.

“Just ’cause something’s good don’t mean it’ll last/ By far we fell apart and just like that/ Time kept ticking and you moved on/ Another 365 have come and gone/ Today would have been a day that we’d celebrate/ And now it’s just another Tuesday,” Megan sings in the chorus.

Megan continues her ascent on the country charts with “I’m Not Pretty,” the follow-up single to the chart-topping “Tennessee Orange.” Both tracks can be found on Megan’s debut album, Lucky, which arrived in May and received the deluxe treatment in September.
