Taylor Swift reveals tracklist for new album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’

Taylor Swift has revealed the tracklist for her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department. The album will include 16 new songs, with features from Post Malone and Florence + the Machine, along with a 17th bonus track titled “The Manuscript.”  You can see the full tracklist via Swift’s social media: here.

Details of the album comes days after Swift had announced she would be releasing The Tortured Poets Department during the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. After winning the Grammy for best pop vocal album for her 10th album, ‘Midnights,’ Swift said during her acceptance speech: “This is my 13th Grammy … I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way, but I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans. So I want to say ‘thank you’ to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years — which is that my brand new album comes out April 19.” Later in the evening, Midnights went on to also win Album of the Year, making Swift the first person to win that award four times.

The Tortured Poets Department will be released on April 19; to preorder, head here.

Jelly Roll ordered via Uber Eats while filming his Uber Eats Super Bowl ad

Jelly Roll is just one of many stars who’ll be appearing in a Super Bowl ad for Uber Eats. But he may be the only one who actually used the app to order food while he was on set filming.

The Grammy nominee tells People that he’s a real-life user of the app, explaining, “We do all of our grocery shopping, house shopping and all that stuff on Uber Eats, and anytime we’re at a studio, Uber Eats is like catering.”

In fact, while filming the ad, he opted not to indulge in the spread of catered food – because he’s on a strict diet – and instead used Uber Eats to order a healthy meal.

“I walked in, and I was joking, and I said, ‘I just ordered Uber Eats on an Uber Eats commercial. I feel like somebody should’ve paid for it,'” he tells People. “The next day, I don’t know who heard me say that, but I got a credit on my Uber Eats account. Nobody’s taken credit for it yet either, and that’s cool. It’s a mystery.”

As previously reported, in the ad, Jelly Roll “forgets” he has tattoos all over his face, looks in the mirror and is shocked, expressing horror over the tats, which he calls “horrible.” In real life, the “Need a Favor” singer isn’t a big fan of them either.

“I don’t think they’re great… I’ve had them so long, I forget they’re there sometimes,” he tells People. He also says he doesn’t anticipate getting any new tattoos because “I’m about out of places to put them.”

Snap, Inc., parent company of Snapchat, to layoff 10% of global workforce

Social media company Snap Inc. (SNAP) announced on Monday that it will lay off 10% of its global workforce, or around 500 employees, in part to “promote in-person collaboration.” The company announced several rounds of layoffs since 2022, most recently in November when it laid off a small number of product employees. A Snap spokesperson said, “we are reorganizing our team to reduce hierarchy and promote in-person collaboration. We are focused on supporting our departing team members.”

In an SEC filing, Snap said, “We announced a plan to reduce our global headcount by approximately 10% of our global full-time employees. In order to best position our business to execute on our highest priorities, and to ensure we have the capacity to invest incrementally to support our growth over time, we have made the difficult decision to restructure our team.”

According to a regulatory filing, the company currently estimates to incur pre-tax charges in the range of $55 million to $75 million as a result of the layoffs, primarily consisting of severance and related costs, and other charges, of which $45 million to $55 million are expected to be future cash expenditures. The majority of these costs are expected to be incurred during the first quarter of 2024.

Snap Inc.’s shares fell nearly 3% in morning trading; stock remains below its debut price and well off its 2021 high of around $83.
