Eminem co-producing documentary titled “STANS”

According to Variety, Eminem will co-produce a documentary titled “Stans” via his Shady Films. The title is derived from the rapper’s 2000 hit single “Stan”, which is now a term commonly used to describe superfans.

Reportedly, the documentary will drop later this year and will be directed by Steven Leckart. According to the film’s summary, it is a “revealing, edgy, and disarmingly personal journey into the world of superfandom, told through the lens of one of the world’s most iconic and enduring artists, Eminem, and the fans that worship him.”

Eminem’s longtime manager Paul Rosenberg and Stuart Parr shared: “’Stans’ will be the opportunity for us to to turn the camera around and ask the audience about being fans — and in some cases, fanatics. This is a study of the relationship between fanbase and artist through the lens of one of Eminem’s most fascinating songs and one of the world’s most important entertainers.”

Nashville notes: Kassi Ashton's “Called Crazy” + Maggie Rose's album news

Kassi Ashton has dropped a new track, “Called Crazy.” “This was just one, single, universal bit of truth that I think all women would agree with; any man who has ever called me crazy, has called me again,” Kassi says of her song, which she wrote with Emily Weisband and Jared Keim. “I’ve been playing this out live here and there for the past six months and the screams I get from the women of the crowd after the first chorus hits tells me I was right in my assumption.”

Maggie Rose has announced her forthcoming album, No One Gets Out Alive, with the release of its title track. “I want people to hear the urgency in the song and stop dwelling on what they’re missing out on- the present is all you have, so make the most of it,” says Maggie. No One Gets Out Alive drops April 5 and can be preordered now.
