Jordan Davis broke a little holiday tradition this year

Jordan Davis is a Christmas-decorations-up-after-Thanksgiving kind of guy.

But things are looking a little different this year in the Davis household.

“My in-laws just left today so the last three days have been, you know, craziness. Awesome, but craziness,” Jordan tells ABC Audio in a little holiday update during CMA Awards week. “[The children are] getting to like, Santa’s the real deal. Everybody gets it. Everybody knows what’s going on. So it’s chaos.”

“But yes, my house already has Christmas decorations up, which is absurd,” says the father of three. “I usually like to wait till Thanksgiving, but we’re already Christmas lights and garland and all that stuff’s already coming out.”

Guess there’s one more person in the Christmas-decorations-before-Thanksgiving camp now?

Jordan’s latest single, “I Ain’t Sayin’,” is in the top 20 and ascending the country charts.

Carly Pearce has shared the official music video for her single “Truck on Fire” from her fourth studio album Hummingbird.

Directed by Pearce’s longtime collaborator Alexa Campbell, the music video transports the viewer to a small town and sees Pearce live out a classic revenge fantasy, taking matters into her own hands by torching the beloved truck of a cheating ex. I wrote this song for every girl who has gone through a similar situation and dreams of wreaking havoc on her ex.”

Carly is currently traveling across the globe on her headlining Hummingbird World Tour, which heads overseas in February 2025 for a European and UK run of shows including stops in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, and Dublin.  Pearce will then head back to the United States stopping in cities like Milwaukee, Columbus, Indianapolis, Houston, Tulsa, and Phoenix before concluding on May 16, 2025, in Nashville. Nashville Notes: Fresh tunes from Belle Frantz, Kashus Culpepper + Kameron Marlowe

Universal Music Group Nashville newcomer Belle Frantz has dropped her piano-driven rendition of Merle Haggard‘s “If We Make It Through December.” It follows her debut three-track stripped-down release of Reba McEntire, George Jones and Conway Twitty covers.

Big Loud Records’ Kashus Culpepper has dropped “Pour Me Out,” a new track he co-wrote with Ben Burgess and Diego Urias. Sonically, “Pour Me Out” melds country and soul, with backing vocals that mirror a church choir. “‘Pour Me Out’ is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” Kashus says. “It reflects a side of my musical influences that reminds me of songs I love from heroes of mine like Ray Charles and Willie Nelson.”

Remember Cam‘s Grammy-nominated hit “Burning House”? Well, Kameron Marlowe‘s a big fan of it, so much so that he released his cover of the stirring ballad. “I've loved this song from the first time I heard it I am such a fan of @camcountry and hope I've done this justice for her and the songwriters Tyler Johnson [and Jeff Bhasker],” Kameron shares on Instagram. “hope you guys love it as much as I do.”

Post Malone's CMAs song inspired by daughter: What he's said about being a dad

Post Malone may be private about details of his daughter, but he is public about how much he loves being a dad.

“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” Posty said about life as a dad in a 2023 interview with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper.

The singer has even written music for his daughter, whose name and exact birth date he has not publicly revealed.

Posty performed his song “Yours,” said to be inspired by his daughter’s future wedding, at the 2024 CMA Awards in Nashville.

“Yesterday she said her first word/ She’s a long way from I do/ Right now she runs to me/ One day she’ll run to you,” the song’s lyrics read. “And it’s gonna be your best day/ But it’s gonna be my worst/ You might watch her walkin’ towards you, but I/ Saw her walkin’ first.”

After he finished singing at the CMAs, Posty said in his microphone, “We love you, DeeDee, we love you so much.”

Posty and his fiancé, whose identity he also keeps private, welcomed their daughter in 2022, according to an interview Malone gave GQ that same year.

He told Alex during their 2023 interview that a big part of his attraction to his fiancé was knowing she’d be a “really good” mom.

“Her heart is so massive,” Posty said of his daughter’s mother. “I’ve always wanted … kids and like a big family and I could tell she was going to be a really good momma. And she’s like the number one mom in the f****** universe.”

Posty also told Alex that even at just over 1 year old, his daughter had seemingly inherited his love for “heavy music,” noting that she gets excited when it’s played for her.

“It was really cute,” he said. “That made me really happy.”
