Kane Brown + Katelyn let their 'Body Talk' in steamy music video

Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, have dropped their second duet, “Body Talk.”

The love song finds Kane and Katelyn professing their yearning for each other over a pop-leaning production.

“Is?your body looking?for somebody?/ ‘Cause I’m looking for somebody like you/ Yeah, there’s no doubt, we don’t need to talk about it/ ‘Cause we can let our bodies talk/ We can let our bodies talk it through,” they sing in the chorus.

Its steamy music video brings the storyline to life with Kane and Katelyn finding each other at a crowded party before letting their “body talk” in the bedroom.

Kane and Katelyn’s first duet, “Thank God,” arrived in 2022 and was a multigenre hit.

“Body Talk” is the second preview of Kane’s forthcoming new album, The High Road. Its lead single, “Backseat Driver,” is currently making its way up the country charts.

Old Dominion plots Ryman residency celebrating seventh CMA Vocal Group win

Old Dominion‘s celebrating the seventh consecutive CMA Vocal Group of the Year win in a big way, as they promised onstage at the CMA Awards.

The group has announced its 7 For 7 Ryman Residency, taking place Feb. 3 through Feb. 6 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. It’ll follow a stripped-down, acoustic format, and each show will benefit one of the seven charities that Old Dominion’s passionate about: MusiCares, Save The Music, Backline Care, the Opry Trust Fund, CMA Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Ramsey Foundation.

“When you're looking at the Oak Ridge Boys, who are a lot like Mount Rushmore, you realize what an incredible family you're a part of. To have won this award, which they've won, Alabama's won, the Chicks won, so many great bands have won, let alone seven times in a row, that's a blessing,” says OD frontman Matthew Ramsey.

“At this point, the best way to celebrate something like this – for us – is to play, to give ourselves and the fans a way to come together in these songs and to help raise resources for some great charities that are out there spreading goodness around trying to help people,” he continues.

“But rather than doing a big show, we wanted to give ourselves the permission to strip it all the way back, create songwriter-type shows that aren't about production, but the songs; to take even more requests and be spontaneous, to create once in a lifetime experiences every single show,” says Matthew. “Where better to do that than at the Ryman?”

There’ll be two shows each on Feb. 3, Feb. 4 and Feb. 5, before the seventh show on Feb. 6.

Tickets go on sale on Friday at noon CT at ryman.com.

ICC issues arrest warrants for Israel PM Netanyahu, former defense minister Gallant and Hamas leader

The International Criminal Court (‘ICC’) issued arrest warrants Thursday for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, along with Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif, over alleged crimes against humanity and war crimes.

The ICC said in a statement on Thursday that they’ve accused Netanyahu and Gallant of a string of human rights abuses in the Gaza Strip, with judges determining that there were “reasonable grounds to believe that” both Netanyahu and Gallant “intentionally and knowingly deprived the civilian population in Gaza of objects indispensable to their survival, including food, water, and medicine and medical supplies, as well as fuel and electricity, from at least 8 October 2023 to 20 May 2024. This finding is based on the role of Mr Netanyahu and Mr Gallant in impeding humanitarian aid in violation of international humanitarian law and their failure to facilitate relief by all means at its disposal”

Netanyahu’s office branded the decision “antisemitic,” ad rejected the charges as “absurd and false” and condemning the ICC as a “biased and discriminatory political body.” Both Israel and the United States do not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC, which has no police to enforce its warrants.

The court issued a separate arrest warrant for Deif, an alleged architect of the Oct. 7 terror attack, whom Israel said it killed earlier this year. Deif was accused of crimes against humanity and war crimes, including for his role in the Oct. 7 attack in which Israeli officials said some 1,200 people were killed and around 250 taken hostage. While Hamas welcomed the warrants as an “important step towards justice”, senior political official Basem Naim said “the court’s decision remains limited and symbolic if it is not supported by all means by all countries around the world to implement it.”

A spokesperson for the National Security Council said the U.S. “fundamentally rejects the Court’s decision to issue arrest warrants for senior Israeli officials.. we are deeply concerned by the prosecutor’s rush to seek arrest warrants and the troubling process errors that led to this decision.”

Matt Gaetz withdraws his name from consideration of Attorney General position amid backlash

Matt Gaetz, 42, has withdrawn from his attorney general nomination amid his ongoing sex-for-hire scandal and subsequent House Ethics Committee investigation.

The former Republican member of Congress from Florida announced Thursday on social media that he is withdrawing his nomination after “unfairly becoming a distraction” to the transition of power to the President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance.

Gaetz wrote on X: “I had excellent meetings with Senators yesterday. I appreciate their thoughtful feedback — and the incredible support of so many. While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition. There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s DOJ must be in place and ready on Day 1 ..I remain fully committed to see that Donald J. Trump is the most successful President in history. I will forever be honored that President Trump nominated me to lead the Department of Justice and I’m certain he will Save America.”

Gaetz had drawn backlash from several Republican lawmakers due to controversy over his connection to a federal sex trafficking investigation being investigated by the Justice Department. He remains under investigation by the Republican-controlled House Ethics Committee over similar allegations.

How 'Holding On' saved Bailey Zimmerman from his 'music slump'

Bailey Zimmerman‘s hit the ground running hard since his first hit, “Fall in Love.”

He released his debut album, notched more chart-toppers, toured with Morgan Wallen and launched his very own headlining tour, among many other things. So it’s no surprise he’s had a bit of a burnout since.

Thankfully, Bailey’s latest single, “Holding On,” helped remedy some of that and renewed his music-loving spirit.

“Man, I had been like in a music slump. I've just been in a live slump, a music slump, for some weird reason,” Bailey recalls in a recent press interview.

“I'm out of it now, but I really give some credit to [‘Holding On’]. I went in and cut it and it was just like one of those songs. It just flowed right out, it was so easy to sing,” he says. “I could relate to every single word.”

Bailey’s hoping that you, too, can be encouraged by his song.

“I [want] to give them hope, really, because it gave me a lot of hope,” shares Bailey. “It gave me this fire back in music and in life.”

“Holding On” is currently in the top 30 and ascending the country charts.

Bailey performed “New to Country” at the 2024 CMA Awards. If you missed it, the full fiery performance is available to watch on YouTube.

LINKIN PARK share video for ‘Over Each Other’

Linkin Park -featuring Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn, along with Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain—have shared the video for their new song “Over Each Other,” off their comeback album, From Zero. The album is the band’s first full-length release since 2017’s One More Light, which was their final album before the passing of lead vocalist Chester Bennington.

“Over Each Other” is the third From Zero cut to be released, following “The Emptiness Machine” and “Heavy Is the Crown.”  The accompanying video, which was directed by Hahn, is streaming on YouTube.  Check it out: HERE.
