Listen to Charlie Puth’s holiday single ‘December 25th’

Charlie Puth has released a new Christmas single ‘December 25th’, inspired by Wham!’s classic ‘Last Christmas’.

Puth, 32, said of the track: “I wrote and recorded ‘December 25’ completely on a whim a few weeks ago in my studio while working on my new album, and though it sounds absolutely nothing like anything on the album, I figured why not share it for the holidays. So here you go.”

Puth, 32, has not released a studio album since 2022’s ‘Charlie’, which featured the hit singles “Light Switch” and “Left and Right” featuring Jung Kook of BTS.  He also dropped the single ‘Hero’ in May, and recently confirmed his fourth studio album is in the works and on the way.

Nashville Notes: The War And Treaty's 'Plus One' + Hueston's 'Pour Me Another'

The War And Treaty have announced their fourth album, Plus One, is arriving Feb. 14. “We see this record as an open invitation to be a part of what we're doing-it came from wanting to be the hope we believe people need right now, as well as the hope that we need for ourselves,” shares the duo’s Tanya Trotter. Michael Trotter Jr. adds, “One of our main intentions with this album is to inspire people to share themselves with others, and open themselves up to the possibility of being loved.” A new track from the project, “Carried Away,” was released with their announcement on Friday.

Hueston has dropped a pensive new ballad, “Pour Me Another,” via Universal Music Group Nashville’s Silver Wings Records. “It’s not just a song – it’s a confession, a shared truth for anyone who’s ever felt too tired to fight but too human to quit,” says Hueston. “It’s not pretty, but it’s honest. This is me at my most vulnerable, turning personal struggles into something I hope feels universal – because we’ve all been there in our own way.”

Ruston Kelly‘s released his cover of Morgan Wallen‘s hit “Sand in My Boots.” “I didn't write this song but I think it's very sick and I like that the verse starts on the 3 chord,” shares Ruston. “Sand in My Boots,” written by HARDY, Ashley Gorley and Josh Osborne, arrived in 2021 on Morgan’s Dangerous: The Double Album.

Georgia boys unite: Luke Bryan, Teddy Swims, Quavo are proud of their 'Georgia Ways'

Luke Bryan, Teddy Swims and rapper Quavo want you to know they’re real proud of their “Georgia Ways.”

That, of course, is the title of their new song, which paints a vivid picture of life in the Peach State.

“That’s just how I was raised/ Stuck in my Georgia ways/ Don’t care about what you say/ Some s*** won’t never change/ That’s just how I was raised/ Stuck in my Georgia ways/ Don’t care about what you say/ Some s*** won’t never change,” goes the anthemic, genre-bending chorus.

The accompanying music video brings their story to life with scenes of Luke, Teddy and Quavo fishing, hanging out by bonfires and riding through the countryside, just living their best Georgia boy lives.

And in case you’re wondering, Luke’s from Leesburg, Teddy’s from Conyers and Quavo’s an Athens native.

You can watch the very country “Georgia Ways” music video on YouTube and listen to the track now wherever you enjoy music.

Jackson Dean's 'Still Ragin'' in surprise track

Jackson Dean has surprise-dropped a new song, “Still Ragin’.”

Penned by Jackson, Luke Dick and Ryan Tyndell, the track chronicles a protagonist’s fired-up attitude toward life and not taming his raging heart.

“Cause I’ll be/ Still ragin’ like a fire out in California/ Still ragin’ like the devil’s fiddle down in Georgia/ When the break of dawn is all done breakin’/ I’m still ragin’/ Singin’ sha na na na/ Still smokin’ like rubber on a Main Street/ Still tokin’ like a joker on a backbeat/ Halfway to Jackson while the world’s just wakin’/ I’m still ragin’, still ragin’, yeah,” Jackson sings in the chorus over a thumping country-rock production.

Jackson’s currently in the top 40 of the country charts with “Heavens to Betsy,” the lead single from his sophomore album, On The Back Of My Dreams.

There 'Ain't Enough Cowboy Songs' for Ashley McBryde: Hear why

Ashley McBryde‘s yearning for the good ol’ Western days takes center stage in “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs.”

The track finds Ashley underscoring a cowboy’s good work ethic and the simpler times of yesteryear.

She sings in the opening verse, “The horse I rode in on got put out to pasture/ And someday they’ll put me there too/ They traded our heroes for overpaid actors/ Who can’t even fill up their boots.”

“I’d love to ride into the sunset/ But there’s no wild out west, no prairie to roam/ Or a high enough lonesome to get far enough gone/ There ain’t enough cowboy songs,” she continues.

Ashley concludes her song with a yodeling nod to Eddy Arnold‘s “The Cattle Call.”

“This song embodies so much that I hold dear.hard work, dedication, and integrity,” Ashley shares on Instagram.

“Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs” is out now on digital platforms.

New photos of ‘person of interest’ released in shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson

The New York Police Department released two new photos of the ‘person of interest’ in the ongoing manhunt for the masked gunman who shot dead UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside a  New York City hotel on Wednesday, in what the NYPD are calling a “premeditated, preplanned targeted attack.”

NYPD released the first unmasked images Thursday of the individual wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting, and asked the public for help identifying that individual. The images were taken from a hostel in the Manhattan Valley area of the Upper West Side. Authorities described the gunman as a white male who wore a tan-colored jacket, a black face mask and black-and-white sneakers, and carried a gray backpack.

Additional evidence in the case was discovered, in which shell casings found at the scene had the words “deny,” “defend” and “depose” written on them. officials said they are examining whether the words relate to a possible motive involving insurance companies and their responses to claims. ABC News reported that officials said they are examining whether the words relate to a possible motive, with the alliteration  a comment on the tactics that opponents say insurance companies use to delay or deny policyholders’ claims.

Thompson, 50, didn’t travel with any personal security detail despite known threats against him, and was staying at the nearby Marriott hotel across the street before heading to the Hilton Midtown Hotel for the UnitedHealth Group’s investor conference. The CEO was shot multiple times before 7 a.m. ET Wednesday, by the masked gunman who fled on a bike and headed to Central Park before police arrived. Authorities recovered three live rounds and three discharged shell casings from the scene.

Police have asked anyone who might know something about the shooting or the gunman to either report what they know to Crime Stoppers or submit tips anonymously online. The NYPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
