Lauren Alaina reveals pregnancy in new video for ‘Those Kind of Women’

Lauren Alaina shared the news of her pregnancy with husband Cam Arnold with the release of the video for her new song “Those Kind Of Women.” Alaina and Arnold announced their engagement on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in November of 2022, and tied the knot on February 14, 2024.

The cinematic video sees Alaina reflecting on the females who raised her and made her the woman she is today. Towards the end of the clip, Alaina reveals she is gearing up to become a mom herself as she holds onto her growing bump while her mom watches from the other side of the crib. When the video fades to black, Alaina’s pregnancy announcement is revealed with a statement that reads, “This video is dedicated to my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer of 2025.”

Alaina shared with PEOPLE about the song, which was co-written bu Lainey Wilson, Derek George, Lynn Hutton and Monty Criswell: “It’s all about the women who raised me. I was really fortunate to be raised around a bunch of very strong women. And when we cut this song, when we recorded this song, I was not pregnant nor thinking about becoming pregnant. It’s funny how things fell into place.”

Alaina is also set to hit the road with Rascal Flatts on the trio’s Life Is A Highway Tour with performances through the end of May. See the video for Those Kind Of WomenHERE.

Lauren Alaina reveals she's pregnant in 'Those Kind of Women' video

Surprise! Lauren Alaina is pregnant with her first child.

Lauren shared the news in the music video for her new song, “Those Kind of Women,” which dropped with the song on Wednesday, two days before its original release date.

The slice-of-life video centers around motherhood and features reenacted moments of Lauren’s mom discovering she’s pregnant with Lauren, raising her, getting her daughter ready for marriage and eventually helping a pregnant Lauren set up her nursery at home.

“Those Kind of Women” is Lauren’s tribute to the women who played an indispensable role in her upbringing.

“I was raised by those kind of women/ Rocked to sleep on Dolly and Dylan/ Set you straight with a fly swatter whippin’/ You can always smell love cookin’ in the kitchen/ Knew how to make a man listen/ Keep a little rainy day coffee can cash hidden/ And whatever kind of hell they were goin’ through/ Jesus was right there with ’em/ I was raised by those kind of women,” Lauren sings in her new song.

Lauren and her husband, Cam Arnold, said “I do” in February 2024 at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

Up next on Lauren’s tour schedule is a show at the Grand Ole Opry on Feb. 12 before she begins opening for Rascal Flatts on their Life Is A Highway Tour on Feb. 13.

Post Malone puts a twist on Oreo cookies with new signature flavor

Post Malone had some help from Oreo to create his dream cookie.

Working with the company, Posty created a first-of-its-kind Oreo with a swirled creme center that combines salted caramel and shortbread-flavored cremes. The outer cookies – one chocolate and one “golden” – feature nine different designs embossed on them, all inspired by Post and his music. The designs include a sunflower, after his song of the same name, and a pickup truck like the one on the cover of his F1-Trillion album.

Posty tells Billboard, “We tried like 50 different combinations. I've been really into salted caramel lately, so I knew that had to be part of it. The shortbread balanced out the flavor and made the perfect twist.” He adds, “When I couldn't decide between classic chocolate and the golden cookie, we said, Why not do both?' That was a fun day of work.”

The singer says in a statement, “Can’t believe they let me make my own OREO cookie. So happy everyone gets to try the taste twist – hope you love it as much as I do, ’cause I think it’s the best OREO ever! It’s the first time OREO has ever twisted the creme of the cookie and they named it after me.”

The Limited Edition Post Malone OREO Cookie Packs will be available for presale starting on Jan. 27, but you can sign up to get early access at OREO.com/UnwrapTheCollab. The cookies hit stores starting Feb. 3 for a limited time, while supplies last.

There’s also an sweepstakes that runs from February through March 31 where you can create your own Oreo flavor combo, and possibly win autographed Post Malone posters and other goodies.
