Cole Swindell calls Luke Bryan his 'biggest influence'

If there’s a fellow Georgia boy that Cole Swindell looks up to in country music, it’s Luke Bryan.

“[Luke] has to be my biggest influence, I mean, not just his music – he has great songs and he's a great entertainer – but also the way he treats people,” Cole shares in a press interview. “I think that in this business [it’s] just as important to be a good person as it is to be talented.”

Cole has a longtime friendship with Luke. Before launching his singing career, he was on tour with the American Idol judge not as an opener, but as Luke’s merchandise guy, tending to his merch booth and selling various merch items.

Of course, Cole went on to open for Luke on various tours, including the That’s My Kind of Night Tour, Farm Tour and Crash My Playa.

“[Luke’s] just a good guy that is from the same part of Georgia as me, and just seeing somebody like that from a small town come up to Nashville and make it, it just gives you hope that anybody out there with a crazy dream of being a country music artist or just anything you want to do, it can happen,” Cole adds. “You know, it doesn't matter who you are, or where you come from.”

“Forever to Me” is currently in the top 15 and climbing up the country charts. It’s the lead single from Cole’s forthcoming as-yet-untitled new album.

Hear a snippet of Lee Brice's 'Cry'

Lee Brice‘s “Cry” drops Friday, but you won’t have to wait to sneak a peek.

Lee recently shared a clip of the unreleased track on social media. While, yes, it is a sad song, it isn’t a ballad, as some might’ve thought.

Instead, “Cry” is an uptempo romantic tune with groovy rhythms accompanying Lee’s delivery of a post-breakup reflection.

“‘Cause baby baby baby/ All I see when I close my eyes/ Is taillights fading away in the Georgia sky/ I’ve been crying in my beer/ Crying in my bed/ Crying on the pillow where you used to lay your head/ Imma cry myself to sleep tonight/ Who says a man don’t cry?” Lee sings.

You can hear the full snippet now on Lee’s Instagram.

Lee’s acoustic You, Me and My Guitar Tour kicks off Thursday in Wilkes-Barre City, Pennsylvania. Tickets and a full list of dates can be found at leebrice.com.

Baby #4 on the way for Jordan Davis

Jordan Davis is now accepting diaper funds for his fourth baby.

Jordan announced Wednesday that he and his wife, Kristen, are expecting their fourth child in a funny Full House-inspired Instagram Reel.

“Well, this is a dude. Well, a dad. Three beautiful children. 5, 3 and 1,” Jordan says before the camera pans to his 5-year-old daughter, Eloise, crying. “Hang in there sis.”

“What’s better than three?” he continues. “What’s better than three is four. That’s where we’re going to be at come June. Baby Davis #4, look out!”

“And you may be thinking, ‘How’s this dude going to do it?’ Well, this dude’s thinking the same thing,” the singer says. “But the dude abides.”

“2025’s going to be a big one. Namely because we’re welcoming a brand new baby,” Jordan adds as the scene cuts to him drinking a bottle of beer by the pool. “Going to need a few more of these things. Let’s keep the party going.”

Several country stars congratulated Jordan, including Lainey Wilson, HARDY and Russell Dickerson.

“BIG PAPI aka LARGE FATHER aka ENORMOUS DADDY! CONGRATS!!!!!!” Russell wrote in the comments.

Oh, and if you want to help defray the cost of baby diapers, Jordan says you can “stream my music and buy tickets” to chip in.

Jordan’s latest single, “I Ain’t Sayin’,” is now #3 on the country charts.
