It's going to be a 'Free and Easy' Super Bowl Sunday for Dierks Bentley

“The older I get, the more it’s like, ‘I love being home,'” Dierks Bentley says.

That’s why for Super Bowl Sunday he’s planning on staying at home, after some can’t-miss appointments.

“I’ll be home. I’m actually going down there to this event, this thing on Friday that my [Row 94 Whiskey] is being presented at, so we’re doing the whole thing down there. But I’m rushing back because I’ve an eighth-grade daddy-daughter dance I got to be at. Cannot miss that,” Dierks shares, before talking about this year’s teams.

“The Chiefs – you’re going to love them or hate them, you know? There’s a lot of people [who] feel different ways about them,” he says. “Eagles fans are hardcore, and so it’s a pretty good matchup of two very competitive fan bases, let’s just put it that way. Very, very competitive. So that’ll be good.”

Beyond the game, Dierks is looking forward to a “Free and Easy” hangout with family and friends, and, of course, some booze.

“We’re going to have some friends over. I’ll just be home, I just like being in my house,” says Dierks. “Home is great. My green couch, I just love it so much. I don’t sit on it very often, but when I do, I’m very happy.”

“[My manager] Mary will probably come over and just make some mocktails, for those people [who] want to do that. I’ll have a beer or two. Just, nothing crazy,” the “Beers on Me” singer adds. “It’ll be a small group in my house, but I heard ticket sales are down a little bit this year. Maybe this was the year to go, but not for me.”

See Bad Bunny learn to dance Salsa in video for “Baile Inolvidable”

Bad Bunny has dropped the music video for “Baile Inolvidable” from Puerto Rican filmmaker Jacobo Morales. The song is taken from the artist’s sixth studio album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.

In the six-minute clip, fans see Morales joining a salsa dance class but oce the class begins, Bad Bunny takes the place of a younger Morales as he learns to salsa. He goes from showing off his moves in the studio to the ballroom where he dances and performs the song with a live band.

Bad Bunny recently spoke to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, revealing that “Baile Inolvidable” was his favorite song of the album and shared that the song is about a man who cannot forget the woman he loved, especially one that taught him how to dance. He added, “It’s a very special song that I have in my mind for maybe two years. The whole composition, it was in my mind way before the song was created. The whole song is made with new young musicians from Puerto Rico. All of them are 20 years old, 21, 22 they’re really young kids, straight from the Escuela Libre de Música, it’s like the public music school from Puerto Rico.”

Toby Keith honored 1 year after his death: 'A toast to a life well lived'

Toby Keith is being remembered one year after his death.

A tribute, presumably from the singer’s family, was posted to his official Instagram on Wednesday to mark the anniversary.

“We can’t believe it’s been a year since the world lost Toby,” the statement read.

“We have a hole in our heart and our lives,” the statement continued. “The love and support from the community that Toby created has left us all thankful and grateful. It has and continues to honor Toby. We know he would be proud of the legacy he left behind.”

“Today we hope you will celebrate and listen to his music with us, where we know he is smiling down and raising his cup,” the post concluded. “A toast to a life well lived.”

A year ago, on Feb. 5, 2024, Keith’s family announced that he “passed peacefully” at the age of 62.

The “Red Solo Cup” singer had shared his stomach cancer diagnosis in June 2022, and in his death announcement, his family said he “fought his fight with grace and courage.”

In the months following his death, Keith was given a degree from the University of Oklahoma, inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and honored at the 2024 CMA Awards, as well as the 2025 Grammys.

Old Dominion's Ryman Residency raises $1 million for charities

Old Dominion has raised over $1 million for charities with their ongoing 7 For 7 Ryman Residency.

“It's not enough to feel good when you can also do something good. We've been so blessed and are so fortunate,” says frontman Matthew Ramsey. “When we started thinking about how to acknowledge winning [vocal group of the year] seven consecutive times, it seemed like trying to give those charities who've been part of our ride a lift was only right.”

“We figured if we could raise $100,000 for each that would be a real windfall for these groups who do such important work for children, our industry, education and people needing help,” he adds.

The charities benefiting from Old Dominion’s efforts are MusiCares, Save The Music, Backline Care, the Opry Trust Fund, CMA Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Ramsey Foundation.

“We have so many people to thank. But even better is we have so many people to celebrate and share this with,” Matthew shares. “We knew it would be a blast, and we hoped we'd help our favorite charities. But man, this is more than we could've ever expected.”

Old Dominion’s Ryman Residency wraps on Thursday.

Meanwhile, on the music front, the reigning CMA vocal group of the year is climbing up the country charts with “Coming Home.”
