Rascal Flatts share ‘I’m Movin’ On’ collab with Kelly Clarkson

Rascal Flatts are sharing their collaboration with Kelly Clarkson, “I’m Movin’ On” – the second song from the trio’s upcoming 10-track album, Life Is A Highway: Refueled Duets.

I’m Movin’ On, co-written by Phillip White and D. Vincent Williams, was originally released more than two decades ago on Rascal Flatts’ debut album.  Per a press release, the new version featuring Clarkson brings the song “to infectiously emotive, genre-bending heights. With award-winning artist Clarkson taking the reins and Rascal Flatts adding delicate harmonies, the anthem still hits home with a soulful, heartbreaking edge 25 years after its initial release.”

Clarkson’s collaboration with Rascal Flatts follows the trio’s pop-infused anthem “I Dare You” with the Jonas Brothers which was released earlier this year. That song was written by Jonas Brothers star Nick Jonas, along with Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney, Dewain Whitmore Jr. and Tommy English.

Other artists appearing on Rascal Flatts’ Life Is A Highway: Refueled Duets include Blake Shelton, Backstreet Boys and more. Frontman Gary LeVox said in a statement: “It was such an honor to create this project with such incredibly talented artists, it’s a pretty indescribable feeling having your colleagues and friends do your songs in such unique ways and knock your socks off with the results. This album is just another attempt for us to thank our fans for the blessings they’ve given us on this crazy journey the past 25 years, thanks for riding along with us!”

Life Is A Highway: Refueled Duets will drop on June 6, marking the band’s 25th anniversary.

Jelly Roll, Reba McEntire and Tim McGraw to perform at Nashville’s first-ever ‘Music City Rodeo’

Nashville will host its first-ever professional rodeo this spring, with the three-day event noted as the first and only Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo in Nashville.

The Music City Rodeo will take place at Bridgestone Arena from May 29-31, featuring McGraw, Jelly Roll and Reba McEntire headlining shows during Nashville’s first Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) event. Check out the promo video for the Music City RodeoHERE.

According to a press release, “each day will showcase 7 thrilling rodeo events from bull riding to barrel racing, team roping to broncs, featuring the world’s best cowboys and cowgirls going head-to-head for over $200,000.00 in prize money. Fans will enjoy the full pageantry of rodeo with additional family-friendly activities like mutton bustin’, clowns and Rodeo Queens, before culminating each night in a headlining arena concert.”

McEntire is slated to perform on opening night (May 29), followed by Jelly on the 30th and McGraw on the 31st. McEntire shares: “It’s no secret that rodeo is in my blood, and I’m thrilled to be a part of starting a new Nashville tradition. Country music and rodeo coming together in Music City, what a perfect combination…I just knew I had to be part of it.”

Jelly Roll added: “As a Nashville native, this felt like a chance to be a part of a history-making event for the city. I have vivid memories when it was announced in Nashville that we were getting a hockey team with the Predators, or a football team with the Titans… and I watched Bridgestone Arena be built from the ground up. Headlining Music City Rodeo in my hometown as a part of the first rodeo brought to town feels like the same type of milestone.”

McGraw said in a statement, “For eight decades, Nashville’s music stars have been the soundtrack to America’s iconic rodeos — country music and rodeo go hand in hand. So, it was time to bring the magic of the rodeo home to Nashville and I’m thrilled to be bringing it here.”

Miley Cyrus shares videos for ‘End of the World’ and ‘Prelude’ from new visual album

Miley Cyrus has released new music from Something Beautiful, her upcoming visual album. Cyrus, 32, shared official videos for “Prelude” and “End of the World.”

Cyrus previously announced her forthcoming visual album – her ninth studio album – with a post on Instagram sharing the album’s cover artwork, shot by fashion photographer Glen Luchford and capturing Cyrus wearing a vintage archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture from his Spring/Summer 1997 collection — which Cyrus’ post says is “a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling.”

An Instagram post announcing the video for ‘Prelude’ read: “Miley Cyrus releases “Prelude” the first song and visual from her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful available May 30, 2025. “Prelude” features Miley wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, as seen on the album artwork, shot by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford. The film’s cinematography is helmed by Benoît Debie, adding to its striking visual narrative. “Prelude” is now available on all streaming platforms.”

In the visual for ‘Prelude,’ Cyrus says: “Like when following an image from a train, your eyes can’t keep the passing landscapes from being swallowed into endless distance. Like when holding a fistful of ashes. Your hands can’t save the things that have already been dissolved into air…The beauty one finds alone is a prayer that longs to be shared.”

Miley also released the video for “End of the World”, with an Instagram post sharing the video stating: “End of the World” arrives with another striking yet simple visual, which brings the project’s unique aesthetic to life. The official video showcases Miley in her element on stage with her microphone in hand, reminiscent of her 2024 GRAMMYs performance. Miley is wearing an original custom Mugler by Casey Cadwallader. Each release unfolds as a fully realized artistic vision, blending music, film, and fashion into a singular cinematic experience. The new single “End of the World” out now.”

Something Beautiful will feature 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Cyrus alongside Shawn Everett (who she worked with on “Used To Be Young.”). Cyrus teased the project in a trailer that heralded it as a “one of a kind pop opera” as well as a “unique visual experience fueled by fantasy.”

Chief Cares is building a 'haven' for victims of Hurricane Helene

Eric Church has broken ground on one of the big ways he aims to help those devastated by Hurricane Helene in September 2024: new housing.

The Blue Haven housing development is located in Avery County, North Carolina, and is funded by Chief Cares, the nonprofit Eric and his wife, Katherine Church, founded in 2013.

“The land we stand on today sits in the heart of a county that has meant so much to me,” Eric said at the groundbreaking on Friday. “This is a place my family and I are proud to call home. … Mountain people, my people.”

The goal is to build 45 houses, which are a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floorpans. Selected families will be able to live there for three years and get help with housing expenses as they get on their feet. After that, they’ll have the option to buy the homes with help from Chief Cares.

The first families are expected to be able to move in by late summer of this year.

Dolly Parton‘s counting down to the kickoff of this year’s Flower & Food Festival at Dollywood on Friday, April 18.

“If there's one thing I know about the Smokies, it's that God does some of his best handiwork this time of year,” she observes. “It's like the mountains come back to life in the spring with all of His beautiful creations blooming around us.”

“Our hosts here at Dollywood put so much effort into making the park as beautiful as the natural beauty you see throughout the hills around us,” she adds.

Post Malone has 'probably 35 songs' for his next album

Post Malone‘s 2024 album, F-1 Trillion, was a huge hit and he’s already working on another.

Speaking to Billboard, Posty says he’s “made probably 35 songs” for the project, adding, “It's just a matter of which one's rock, and which one's sock.”

Like F-1 Trillion, it will be a country album. Explaining why his first official foray into the genre was such a success, Post says, “I think finally bringing the fun back into what I was doing really showed on the record. And I think a lot of folks had fun listening to it. And we're going to attempt to do it again. I'm excited to keep going.”

“I sit there and listen to these songs, and I usually hate listening to my music, but listening to the band play, I get so excited,” he shared.

And since Posty has released a new album every year since 2022, does this mean the new album he’s working on is coming out this year?

“Hopefully, we'll have some music releasing very, very soon,” he teases.

New music wasn’t on Posty’s set during Coachella on Sunday night, however. It included tracks from across his entire career, including “White Iverson,” “Wow,” “rockstar,” “Circles,” “Sunflower” and “I Had Some Help.” He kicks off his Big A** Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll on April 29.
