The Complete Edition features all of the songs from Swims’ record-breaking first two albums — I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) and Part 2, which included the hit singles, “Bad Dreams,” “Guilty,” “Are You Even Real” with Giveon, “The Door,” and “Lose Control.”

Says Swims: “I hope fans hear ‘God Went Crazy’ and it makes them think about that special person in their lives. I’m lucky enough to have found a sweet, sweet love who, when I look at her, I just know there was some extra time spent on her. I know perfection is subjective, but she’s pretty damn close. ‘God Went Crazy’ is about the indescribable feeling you have when you know you’ve met your person. It is my way of trying to put into words what a soul mate means to me. When you find that special person in your life, they just feel like home.”

Machine Gun Kelly and Julia Wolf drop remake of Goo Goo Dolls’ classic “Iris”

Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) has joined forces with singer-songwriter Julia Wolf to release a fresh take on the Goo Goo Dolls’ beloved 1998 hit, “Iris.”

Originally penned by Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik, “Iris” was crafted specifically for the soundtrack of the 1998 romantic drama City of Angels, starring Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan. The song’s lyrics were inspired by the film’s storyline, in which Cage’s character (an angel) considers relinquishing his immortality in order to experience human love with Ryan’s character.

“Iris” was officially released as a single on April 1, 1998, and later appeared on the Goo Goo Dolls’ sixth studio album, Dizzy Up the Girl which dropped later that same year. The song remains the Goo Goo Dolls’ most iconic tracks, and has been RIAA-certified Diamond for sales of more than 10 million units, racking up more than 2 billion streams on Spotify alone.
