Carrie Underwood's 2022 tour will be the first time she's toured without her kids in “years”

Carrie Underwood heads out on her Denim & Rhinestones tour this fall, and for the first time in a long time, she won't have her kids in tow with her.

That's right: Carrie's adorable plus-ones, 7-year-old Isaiah and 3-year-old Jacob, typically join her when she's on the road, but now that they're old enough to go to school, they'll be staying at home and only coming out for visits.

She'll miss them, of course, but Carrie tells ET Online that flying solo this time around isn't necessarily a bad thing. “I feel like it'll be a little bit easier, I guess, to go on tour, because my kids are in school now,” she says.

“It'll be the first time I haven't had a baby on the road in years. Years years,” she continues. “So I am looking forward to being able to really work and not be so tired.”

Carrie's tour kicks off on October 15 with opening act Jimmie Allen. Even though her boys won't be joining her this time around, she'll still see them plenty, she adds — the singer says she's making stops at home in Nashville to make sure she sees her two kids as much as she can.

The singer's boys have both gone on the road with her plenty, and Isaiah has also joined her in the studio in the past. He duets with his superstar mom on a rendition of “Little Drummer Boy,” which is featured on Carrie's 2020 Christmas album, My Gift.

Post Malone shares update after falling on stage during St. Louis concert

Midway through his show at St. Louis’ Enterprise Center on Saturday, Post Malone took a nasty spill during his performance of ‘Circles,’ accidentally falling into an open trap door in the stage. See a fan video of Malone’s onstage fall in St. Louis: here.

Malone was walking down an extended ramp when he accidentally stepped into an uncovered hole that was used to lower his guitar. After crashing onto the stage floor, he clutched his ribcage in pain before calling for medical assistance. After leaving the stage for about 15 minutes, the singer returned and thanked the audience for their patience, telling the crowd:  “There was a big a** hole in the stage.” Still in pain while holding his side, Malone managed to finish with a shortened set that included “Rockstar,” “Cooped Up” (with Roddy Ricch), “Sunflower” and “White Iverson.”

Malone later took to Twitter on Sunday morning to explain what happened in a short video: “Whenever we do the acoustic part of the show, the guitar’s on the guitar stand and it goes down. And there’s this big ass hole, so I go around there and I turn the corner and I bust my ass. Winded me pretty good; got me pretty good.” The singer added that he was taken to the hospital and given a clean bill of health. “They gave me some pain meds and everything, so we can keep kicking ass on the tour.”

Blake Shelton might be less competitive on 'The Voice' now that he's married to fellow coach Gwen Stefani

If you're wondering whether Blake Shelton's lost his fiery competitive spirit as a coach on The Voice now that he's married to one of his fellow coaches, Gwen Stefani, the answer is … well, maybe.

Blake, Gwen and the rest of the Voice gang sat down with E! Insider ahead of the season premiere, and when asked whether he's gone soft, Blake explained that he's got to think twice now before coming after other coaches.

“You start to lose a little bit of your edge because she's your weakness,” coach John Legend told Blake during the conversation, also saying that Gwen — who doesn't claim to be that competitive of a person — is getting fierier in the new season.

But Blake has a different perspective: He's actually less cautious about not offending Gwen now that they're married, he says.

“I think it's more competitive now because it's a lot harder to break up when you're married,” Blake points out. “We could have a huge fight about something that happens on The Voice, and be like, Alright, we're not gonna get divorced over this.'”

The next season of The Voice premieres September 19 on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.

As Garth Brooks wraps his Stadium Tour, he says he'll miss his crew the most: “We're a family”

This weekend, Garth Brooks officially wraps his Stadium Tour with the run's final of five shows in Croke Park, Dublin. As he looks towards the end of the run, Garth says that he'll miss his road family the most after he shuts down the trek.

“What am I going to miss most? The people that are on the tour,” the singer explains, pointing out that his crew more than doubled to accommodate for the large-scale return to the road following 2020 and 2021's COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns.

“We went from 18-20 trucks to 58 trucks,” Garth goes on to say. “All those new jobs…all those new people…at the end of the tour, you've got a lot of people out there that love one another.”

He adds, “We're a family.”

The Stadium Tour may be in the rearview, but Garth won't stay still for long. He's planning three shows at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena — a newly-constructed venue at Bass Pro Shops Cedar Lodge in the Ozarks of Missouri — for the end of September and beginning of October.

Those shows will be a part of the 50th anniversary celebration of Bass Pro, held by the store's founder, Johnny Morris.

Kelsea Ballerini pledges allegiance to a forever friend in “If You Go Down (I'm Goin' Down Too)”

Kelsea Ballerini swears her eternal friendship — no matter what — to her ride-or-die in “If You Go Down (I'm Goin' Down Too),” the latest track to be released off her upcoming Subject to Change album.

Blending country twang with a feel-good, bubblegum vocal line, Kelsea vows her eternal devotion to a friend she's known “since Brad and Angelina,” even saying that her allegiance goes further than the law.

“Hypothetically, if you ever kill your husband / Hand on the Bible, I'd be lyin' through my teeth,” she insists in one verse.

To go along with her new song, Kelsea dropped a fun, retro music video that shows her in full 50s glam, touching up her makeup in a parlor room as the world burns through the window outside.

Kelsea's full Subject to Change project arrives September 23. It includes previously released songs like “Heartfirst” and “Love is a Cowboy,” as well as a collaboration with Carly Pearce and Kelly Clarkson called “You're Drunk, Go Home.”
