Kane Brown is giving fans a preview of the duet with his wife, Katelyn

The superstar took to Instagram to share a snippet of the highly anticipated duet, “Thank God,” that finds the husband and wife singing together for the first time.

The song features a soft, pop-country melody as Kane and Katelyn’s voices unite singing, “I thank God/I get to wake up by your side/I thank God your hand fits perfectly in mine/And thank God you loved me when you didn’t have to/But you did, you do/And he knew/Thank God for giving me you.”

“So excited,” Kane shared alongside the video of them recording in the studio. “Are y’all ready?” Katelyn adds.

A pair of black-and-white pictures shows the singer overlooking misty mountains and driving in a car with his wife, with the windows and top down. Katelyn also shared a photo of them from the set singing with each other on the beach at sunset.

“Thank God” is featured on Kane’s new album, Different Man, which is out on Friday.

The show must go on: Luke Combs refunds fans' tickets after not being able to sing

Luke Combs lost his voice during a recent concert, but that didn’t stop him from keeping the show going.

During his second night headlining Maine Savings Ampitheater in Maine this weekend, the superstar stopped mid-show to tell the audience that he knew he wasn’t going to be able to sing “as good as I normally do.” To make up for it, he refunded all of the tickets and continued on with the show.

“We’re still going to play the show, but it’s not going to be what I think it should be for you guys having to pay for it, so we’re going to put on the best free show we can put on,” he explained with a hoarse voice, adding that he was “so upset” about the situation.

“I’m going to give you everything that I have and I am so sorry,” he continued, getting emotional as the crowd cheered. His speech led into a performance of his most recent #1 hit, “Doin’ This.”

The night before, Luke paid it forward to two young fans, Bo and Tanner, who paid $200 total for their tickets by stacking wood. When the singer saw their sign from the audience, he paid the boys $140 in cash and promised to pay the remaining $60.

Coast Guard calls off search for 9 people missing in crash of floatplane near Seattle

The Coast Guard announced Monday that their search for nine people who have been missing since the crash of a floatplane off Seattle on Sunday has been called off.   One person was already confirmed dead in the Mutiny Bay area of Puget Sounds after a de Havilland DHC-3 Otter floatplane carrying 10 people went down off Whidbey Island about 3:10 p.m. Sunday. The Coast Guard said that one of the nine who were included in the now-suspended search is a child.  The plane took off from Friday Harbor, Washington, roughly 100 miles north of Seattle, en route to the Seattle area; the crash site off Whidbey Island is about 40 miles north of Seattle.

Capt. Daniel Broadhurst of the 13th Coast Guard District said in a statement Monday: “It is always difficult when it comes time to make a decision to stop searching. The hearts of all the first responders go out to those who lost a family member, a loved one or a friend in the crash.”  The Coast Guard said a remotely operated underwater vehicle and a drone will continue to assist in searching for wreckage and debris.

The Coast Guard was assisted by other agencies in the search including the Island County Sheriff’s Office, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and South Whidbey Fire/EMS. The federal agency said that “in total, the Coast Guard conducted 26 search sorties, searching 1,283 nautical miles of track line covering an area of approximately 2,100 square nautical miles.”

One of two suspects is found dead in Canada stabbing attacks that killed 10 people

One of two suspects in the Canadian stabbing attack that killed 10 people has been found dead, police confirmed on Monday. Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore, commanding officer of the Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Mounted Police, said the body of 31-year-old Damien Sanderson was found on the James Smith Cree Nation in Saskatchewan at 11:30 a.m.; the search continues for Myles Sanderson, his brother. Myles Sanderson, 30, may be injured, but that has not been confirmed.

Blackmore said at a news conference: “We do want the public to know this as there is a possibility he may seek medical attention. It does not mean he is not still dangerous.” Damien Sanderson had visible injuries that are not believed to have been self-inflicted, Blackmore said. A cause of death will be determined later, adding that his body was found “outdoors in a heavily grassed area in proximity to a house that was being examined.”

19 people were injured in the attacks, which spanned 13 identified crime scenes, officials said. Including the discovery of Damien Sanderson’s body, the number of deaths involved in the case rose to 11. The identities of the dead were not released by police Monday, but Blackmore said that none of them were infants or children.

Investigators believe some victims may have been targeted and others may have been attacked at random, but an investigation is ongoing. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called the attacks shocking and heartbreaking:  “This kind of violence, or any kind of violence, has no place in our country,” Trudeau said.

Cole Swindell's “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” was originally supposed to be a duet with Thomas Rhett

Cole Swindell's hit song “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” is a throwback to 90s country and a love letter to Jo Dee Messina's original “Heads Carolina, Tails California.”

But the original concept for the song was even bigger. It was supposed to be a duet with Thomas Rhett, who is a co-writer on the track — an idea that emerged while Cole was on TR's The Center Point Road Tour last year.

“Me and Thomas Rhett had talked about that on tour last year,” the singer explains. “The original plan was for me and him to sing a song. We didn't really know what.”

Eventually, they landed on “Heads Carolina,” which Cole knows might have come as a surprise to some fans in terms of being the ’90s song he'd choose to tribute. “Of all the ’90s country songs we all love, I don't think anybody would have thought we'd pick that one,” he says. “But I think that's what makes it special.”

The most difficult part of writing it, Cole continues, was figuring out the right way to honor the original song — and ultimately, having to pivot away from their idea of singing it as a duet.

“That was a challenge, because we finally had to realize, Hey, it might not work with me and you singing this,'” he says, adding that he and TR both quickly put their plans aside to focus on making the song as great as possible.

“Let's just write it at the right angle, because this could be a massive idea,” Cole recalls telling TR during the write.

“She Had Me at Heads Carolina” comes off of Cole's latest album, Stereotype.

Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ reissued after ‘Stranger Things’ success

37 years after its initial release, Kate Bush’s hit track “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” has been reissued as a CD single. The song, which amassed a huge resurgence due to its use in Season 4 of Netflix’s “Stranger Things”, was originally a part of Bush’s 1985 album “Hounds of Love.”

As described on the website, the CD will feature a “period correct” artwork and a B-side. The single cover features a throwback photo of Bush aiming a bow and arrow. Aside from “Running Up That Hill,” the tracklist also features “Uner the Ivy.” The song is available via Rhino here.

After the single was used on the fourth season of “Stranger Things,” it immediately garnered massive success. In a rare interview with the BBC in June, Bush said she knew the song would gain attention again, but she never imagined it to be this big because “the whole world’s gone mad.  The thought of all these really young people hearing the song for the first time and discovering it is, well, I think it’s very special.”

The Weeknd forced to cut short his Los Angeles concert after losing his voice

After performing only a few songs during the second night of his two sold-out concerts at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on Saturday, The Weeknd was forced to cut the show short after losing his voice. During his performance of “Can’t Feel My Face” The Weeknd lost his voice, stopped and then came out onstage to tell the crowd: “I can’t give you the concert I want to give you. I’m going to make sure everyone’s good, gets your money back, and I’ll do a show real soon for you guys, but I wanted to come out and personally apologize and not tweet it or Instagram it. I wanted you guys to know that I can’t give you what I want to give you. I apologize. I’m so sorry.  You know how much this kills me. I love you. Thank you so much.”

In a Twitter post, he wrote: “My voice went out during the first song and I’m devastated. Felt it go and my heart dropped.  My deepest apologies to my fans here.  I promise I’ll make it up to you with a new date.”

The Weeknd’s stadium tour then got off to a rocky start in July in his hometown of Toronto, which had to be postponed because of a Rogers wireless network outage. The tour is now expected to move on through Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa & Middle East.

Which job is harder — being in a NASCAR pit crew or a college football team? Chase Rice weighs in

Chase Rice held quite a few interesting jobs before becoming a country star, including lots of high-profile gigs, like being on reality TV.

But when it comes down to the toughest jobs he's ever worked, Chase says that nothing compares to being a college football athlete — not even working on a NASCAR pit crew.

“The hardest job I ever had was college football,” says the singer, who's a former linebacker for the University of North Carolina.

“It isn't a job — it's a full-time job, but you know, back then we didn't get paid for it,” he continues. “But that was much harder [than NASCAR], because there's just a more strenuous, longer season. Well, I don't know about a longer season, but it was just harder — it flat out was.”

For one thing, the level of sustained physical activity was more grueling — “A 4 1/2-hour day, when you're playing the whole time, is a lot harder than five or six pit stops” — and for another, there was more pressure involved.

“The hard part comes when you've got a guy like Jimmy Johnson and championships on the line,” Chase continues. “So there is a whole lot of pressure. [NASCAR] is a very, very hard job. But for me, football is harder.”
